The purpose of our website and online zazenkai is to clearly convey what Zen is, and to enable you to practice in a way that acutally enables satori (enlightenment), as quickly as possible.

Zazen (sitting Zen) is not difficult. And done correctly, it can conclude your search for Truth. It can resolve your questions about what is real, free you from delusion, and bring an unequivocal end to seeking. Zazen enables satori (enlightenment).

But because Zen and satori are so widely misunderstood, people end up unknowingly doing things that sabotage their practice.

Kenichi Matsumoto is a master Zen teacher in Japan, and his bilingual student wants to enable other seekers like herself all over the world to access his instruction. Hence, our offerings at Zen Online.

If you want to resolve the questions of self, no-self, Truth, human suffering, reality, etc., it is crucial to speak to a teacher who has already done so. We welcome questions and inquries.
